PitPilot review- NOV/DEC 2008
The second dvd from Welsh film maker Tim Davies, Seven stops is more of a travel flick than his first film 'Step into the realm' which featured some sick footage from the UK. Having said that , it still retains that rootsy, core feel, as the premise of the film is basically 5 mates traveling to the best surf destinations in the world and having a good time. For this reason, some of the breaks are not as big or perfect as you may have seen them on higher budget films, but that doesnt really matter because the quality of the surfing is top notch, with all the big boys like Parko, Taj and Slater featured as well as our very own Mr Stokes. Seven Stops feels way more inclusive than most surf films featuring the same spots, it kind of feels like your on the trip with the boys, and right now, I wish I was! Definitely worth checking Seven Stops out... sick waves, a good mix of tunes and slick editing make it a perfect film to defrost to this winter.
Seven Stops, the new movie from Welsh film maker Tim Davies has hit the spot. Almost scoring maximum points the video had our reviewers wishing they had been along for the ride.
The editing all the way through was also top class, and the little clips of the guys just having fun along the way, really made you feel like you were there on the trip with them."

A simple concept, five friends and seven dream locations, plus a smattering of the world's top pros, makes for a great movie. Topped off with excellent editing it is a worthy follow-up to Step into the Realm.
"I must admit it more than lived up to my expectations. The soundtrack was excellent and really set you up for the rest. There is some world class surfing on display here, in some equally world class locations." Richard de Beaufort
